4.3 Dog Houses and Animal Runs/Enclosures

Approval is required for all dog houses. All other animal enclosures and/or runs are prohibited. Dog houses must be compatible with the applicant's fence in color and material and shall be located in rear yard areas which are fully enclosed by a 6'0" high fence to all perimeters. The same construction criteria shall apply to dog houses as to storage sheds.

Application Contents. All applications shall include the following information:

a. Site plan showing the relation of the dog house to the homeowner’s property line and adjacent neighbors.

b. Picture and/or detailed drawing of dog house to include dimensions.

c. Description of materials used.

d. Estimated completion date.

e. Maximum dog house size shall not exceed a plan area of 20 square feet and a height of 4 feet.
